Ashton Bears Women's Open Age begin their first season of winter rugby after entering the WRLA competition into Division 1. A brand new experience for all involved, the first game is a local derby away against Wigan St Judes, to be played this Sunday at 2pm.
Come down and support the ladies, and if you want to get involved, either as a volunteer, or you want to come and give rugby league a try, contact the Team Manager, Louise on 07920 090436. Remember, you don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great!
