Patience is a virtue

Whilst it feels like forever since we first initiated the top pitch project (it is, it began in September 2021), we are proud to announce that it is finally out of the hands of the contractor and into the hands of nature. What an epic journey it has been.

From the initial bid process and the support of the #RFL and the #FootballFoundation to putting the bids together, and helping us secure funding to initiate the process, and the advice, processes and hard work of Danvic Turfcare, we have finally got to the situation where the pitches are perfectly levelled, drains are installed and seed have been planted. Now all we need is some rain and sunshine and hopefully we’ll have two brand new pitches open and operational in July. Looking forward to seeing you play on them.
